Hi, We (me and people cc'ed) are preparing Virtuoso for Debian packaging and are currently doing a licensing scan of all the files in the tarball using licensecheck. So far, everything looks good, except: ./binsrc/cached_resources/cached_resources.c ./binsrc/samples/TPC-W/IMAGEGEN/* ./binsrc/samples/TPC-W/WGEN/* ./binsrc/tests/enquire.c ./libsrc/JDBCDriverType4/testsuite_1.2/TestBlob.java ./libsrc/JDBCDriverType4/testsuite_2.0/TestTagProc.java ./libsrc/JDBCDriverType4/testsuite_3.0/TestTagProc.java ./libsrc/JDBCDriverType4/testsuite_4.0/TestTagProc.java ./libsrc/langfunc/encoding_html.c ./libsrc/langfunc/latin1ctype.c ./libsrc/langfunc/latin1ctype.h ./binsrc/maildrop/sysexits.h
Could you clarify their situation ? On cursory inspection, they lack proper copyright/license notices, either in header or in an accompanying file. The complete list we are currently working on is here: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AkXsXAC-XCK-dDM5ejMyRUNwaXFLUWdRdklnU2Vzc1E&hl=en We are currently working on the 6.0.0 tarball but would target a first packaging release with version 6.0.1. Feel free to ask any other questions. Thank you! Obey Arthur Liu
