Hi Hugh,
I have been using the log_enable method since June 20 and I have been able to use the conductor properly whenever necessary until today. I did shut the server down for a few minutes about a week ago so anything statewise might have happened then, but the only config file changes I made was to add another striped segment to the database as it was approaching its memory limit (I went from 4GB to 6GB allowable space on disk to finish up with 3 striped segments each made up of 2 1GB files) I am using the /sparql interface, so not the conductor as far as I know, and they are being done from a separate program that just submits the query in a HTTP POST request. I will restart the server using the isql interface and see if the bug pops up again. I can isolate the server from the INSERT stream if necessary to see whether the bug comes up again, but if I just restart the server the inserts will start again within seconds. I will just restart for now and see what happens to the conductor.
