Hi Kurt,
OK, as you indicate this error only occurs when performing the load
via the ODBC connection and not if you load directly via isql can you
create an ODBC trace of this fail load attempt by enabling tracing as
detailed at:
http://wikis.openlinksw.com/dataspace/owiki/wiki/UdaWikiWeb/
GeneratingClientsideODBCTracesAllDrivers
It might also be useful to enable Virtuoso tracing with the trace_on
() function to see what activity is occurring on the server when this
deadlock occurs:

Hi Hugh,
What is the version of the Virtuoso instance being used for
hosting this
service (virtuoso-t -?) ?
Version 5.0.11.3039-pthreads as of Jun 1 2009
Can you provide a copy of the virtuoso.log file for analysis as
this may
provide more details on any errors server side ?

nothing helpful i think - just Check point made, log reused
problem alert can Friday afternoon
Also, what is the
version and bitness of CentOS being used, the output of the
following commands would be useful:
cat /etc/issue
CentOS release 5.3 (Final)
Kernel \r on an \m
uname -a
Linux parrot 2.6.18-128.1.6.el5 #1 SMP Wed Apr 1 09:10:25 EDT 2009
