To check to see if it is running, depending on your os, use the "MS
Taskmanager", or Ctrl+Alt+Del and look for "WinVNC.exe" as a running
process. For *inux use "ps -ax" and look for "vncserver". If it is
running, kill/terminate the process.

<MS World>
If you delete ?:\Program Files\ORL\ directory and receive no errors, that
basically guarantees that the copy of the WinVNC server in that directory
wasn't running. However, if you feel your system was comprimised, you may
want to search your computer for "WinVNC.exe".

One may want to consider some personal rewalling software, or for the
hardcore a port monitor app to manually scan for unauthorized access.
