That is correct - the vncPatches are in fact exactly the same but for the
version number (which has been incremented by one to demonstrate and test
the new logging facility).

It works for me... Obviously, the two passwords must be different. The
intended behaviour is as follows:

- If both passwords are blank, unauthenticated, full-privilege access is
allowed. This is not reccommended...
- If the main password is blank, access is only granted using the View-only
password, with View-only priveleges.
- If the view-only password is blank, access is only granted using the main
password, and the user is given full privileges.
- If both passwords are present, the user is given privileges appropriate
to the password they entered.

If any of the above cases truly don't work, let me know.

Long-password support was also introduced in alpha-4, but so far no viewer
supports it. The support is activated automatically as soon as the server
is given a password exceeding 8 characters in length. A checkbox is
provided as a safeguard against accidentally doing this. Documentation on
the protocol changes required to implement this support will be made
available on my website in time.
