Probably, you have already figured out that vnc-list software strips all 
attachments from messages.  You must send your gif directly to the quierant 
(Chip Wood?), or, more to the purpose of a sharing list, post it on a web 
page and provide its URL in your message.  That way, people searching the 
archives may reference it too (as long as the URL is live).

Do other list readers have suggestions as to a place (or other method of 
sharing diagrams) appropriate to vnc-list?
