Hmm, I haven't checked the license lately, but the Holodesk Communicator 1.0
avatars are supposed to be limited to use within the Holodesk Telepresence
Network. Should check the license to confirm that is still part of it.
Anyway, they're not "proprietary technology". They are h-anim 1.1 with a
Level-of-Articulation which is generally only 1 or 2 joints shy of LOA 1 (as
defined by h-anim).
Note: the h-anim avatar wrapper (which takes care of all the gestures) is
heavily dependent on Holodesk Communicator features that aren't available
elsewhere yet (including Living-Worlds-style message nodes, custom
selectors, etceteras).

Gives you snapshots of the Holodesk Communicator 1.0 avatars, as you can
see, no Pamela Anderson types.
