Just a couple of other ones:

 * Being able to change your avatar from inside the world instead of having
to log out then log back in as at present

 * being able to ignore (mute, and possibly make invisible) troublemakers.
I know this isn't needed just yet, but believe me that when it becomes more
widely adopted it will be necessary (I manage an ActiveWorlds-based virtual
world at the moment and it has been very useful to be able to get people to
mute abusers). For those that don't know, muting doesn't actually affect
the person being muted -- only the person doing the muting no longer hears
the muted person. Making them invisible would be even more effective
because some idiots annoy people by continually standing in front of them
or running through them again and again.

Cheers,
