What makes you think such things are possible? Is there any evidence for
them?

They seem like pure science fiction to me. As long as we are imagining
science fiction, why not say we need instantaneous "beam me down"
teleportation like in Star Trek? Or faster-than-light travel. Either one
would save time on the trip. I see no point in saying "we need" things
which do not exist as far as anyone knows.
