I doubt Einstein had this problem. He was a charming person. When he chose to be, he was well tuned to people's emotions, and skilled at academic politics in his early career in Berlin, when he needed to be. (Later he got all that he wanted for the asking.) He was also very much a ladies' man. Quite seductive and successful with the women, especially after he became famous. Source: "Einstein in Berlin" (book).
