Yes and here's the interesting thing. Horace and everyone else are
approaching this from the perspective of charge-screening for fusion. 

If there is a fifth force, maybe we do not need fusion at all. Maybe all we
need is either to force fermions into spatial interfaces where they do not
usually go, or to get protons close enough where the do not fuse but do
cohere some of the FF potential energy and deposit it back into 3space. 

How else can we explain the lack of radioactivity when there should be an
enormous gamma flux which cannot be shielded, as in the V&B report? 

How would the fifth force act to produce heat? Since it is
inter-dimensional, the FF could merely amplify the zitter or vibrational
level already present in 3space - kind of like a sail catching a 4D
'breeze'... and yes to all appearances it DOES seem to violate CoE, but not
really anymore than nuclear energy appears to do (if you did know about the
strong and weak forces).
