He told me he did not want the technology used by the military because he is a pacifist. I have no idea if that is how he truly felt. Perhaps, as you suggest, it was actually because he was already in negotiations with them. He says lots of things that should be disregarded. Frankly, I would be surprised if he presently is doing any business with the military in any country. If I were a military procurement officer I wouldn't give him the time of day. - Jed
