Hey Jed - If you get a chance ask Chelani about SiO2 coating of the Isostan wire. His recently released patent has this as an essential step - and DK also seem to have copied this idea with their Al2O3+SiO2 coating.
In the current work Chelani seems to have done away with the SiO2 coating? - or has he just not reported it? Thanks Mark S.
