I am seeking a bit of feedback from the Vortex crowd. I have constructed a simulation model of the outside glass temperature and power output of the MFMP Celani test cell under evaluation. My model suggests that there is approximately 28 kilo joules of extra energy stored within the cell when it has an input power of 48.22 watts applied. The temperature starts at 22 C and ends at 122.1 C. The gas pressure within the device is at approximately 1 bar.
The device time constant is in the vicinity of 6 minutes so it has a lot of time to store the input power. This seems to be a bit high, so I was hoping someone in the group could give me a sanity check. If my simulation accurately calculates the stored energy then it would be very useful. Thanks, Dave
