Andreas: Not useful? I am sure I am not alone in using text cut/copy/paste
in Voyager several times a session for moving URLs around and importing
data from web pages.

The currently employed right mouse button menu renderings happen when the
pointer is over a frame (frame operations) or graphics (a.k.a. this is a
GUI feature Voyager already uses elsewhere)..

If the cut/copy/paste feature is there, why not display it in a menu?

The point I am making is does the GUI tell you cut/paste/copy is
available when it is available? You have brought up comparing the utility
of cut/copy/paste between different types of applications, and I believe
that is a separate issue.
