Anyway I would not have known that the cut and paste ability existed
unless i had asked. Surely, especially in Microdot there should at
least be a menu just to show that it can. ;-)

I dont really have an interest in copying links as they can be stored
using the bookmark facility, however does this affect all other MUI
applications?.
