Well, Excuse me ... but maybe English is not your main language so
I`ll excuse you for not reading and understanding fully just what I
wrote above. Simply put, I asked for nothing/nada/zip/zilch. I did
state that I would not /refuse/ a discount, implying, *if* one was
offered. Why shouldn`t I?
As to your idea of waiting, if some mention of an upgrade offer was
made when the original registration was made public, then some may
have waited instead of showing their immediate support for the software.
In my opinion, they must have known wether V3 would be a new product
or upgradeable from V2 (they had over a year to decide) and therefore
should have made the upgrade path available at the same time as the
registration. End of story!
I think it laughable that everyone asks for people to support the
development of software for our chosen platform to keep programmers
writing for us. Then you say I should sit back and wait instead of
offering incouragement. Ha!

PS. If you look back to when the upgrade path was first mentioned
you will see that I voiced this thought even then, so there`s nothing
sudden in it at all.

PPS. Personally I don`t see why it should bother you anyway. There
is such a thing as loyalty and usually it gets rewarded not made to
feel punished. I`m not complaining, I like V, used it since it first
appeared and paid for the various upates as and when required. It
works well for me even V, just earlier I D/L`ed an >8meg file for
use with fusion with no problems.
