Sure, I had closed my vapor app's down and 'it took me by surprise'
when it asked for V13 (implying it hadn't been loaded). I had other
tasks to do (so just knocked a quick, short post), later when I had a
break, I checked the lib (it was v13.2) and didn't have time to go
further, so I rebooted and it came up. Put another short mail to the
list.
I'm not adverse to rebooting but have spent a lot of time eliminating
buggy (as in crash) programmes, using snoopdos and other tools.
I guess as I work on 8 variants of linux, plus all the free Bsd's
(and os2, winNT and 95, you have to, comes with the territory)
I've got used to not re-booting unless it's expedient (time/critical
-wise).
Trying to locate the source of a conflict/problem can be quite a fun
challenge when time permits.

O.K. - I agree. Perhap's I'll try and set some time aside for my
next upgrade to see exactly what is happening and why.
Or i could just re-boot ;-)
