V is now trying to use the correct fonts as set in the FONT FACE tag.

Font sizes under 24 pixels high give bbest results if hand-optimised
bitmap fonts are available. Very small sizes such as 9 or 11 pixels look
terrible when generated directly from outlines.

Years ago, Adobe used to issue a full set of small hand-optimised
bitmaps free for use on the Mac. Same problem there.

We need good small bitmaps for Arial, Times, Verdana, Tahoma etc. I've
started making these with Typesmith.

In the meantime, look for the XHelvetica fonts and set up to use these
for Arial. They are the best available Amiga small fonts.

You should have also some Times and Helvetica bitmaps supplied by
Commodore. The Helvetica ones can be used for sizes not available in
XHelvetica. Helvetica and Arial are the same design.

Beware of using the Workbench FixFonts program if you have Type 1 fonts
installed - if it finds an empty bitmap font directory, it will
de-install the font.
