I agree with that. I use Netscape with NT here at work,
and guaranteed there isn't a day goes by when I don't
have to go into the NT task manager and kill the
Netscape.exe because it suddenly takes over virtually
100% of my available CPU time and a significant
chunk of memory. Considering I've got a twin Pentium
machine (each processor approx 600Mhz) with 256megs
of Ram, that's just mad.
Give me my little 50Mhz Amiga with 32 megs ram and
Voyager any day :-) Seriously though, each platform
has its advantages and disadvantages. Just don't be
lead into believing you will find a complete and
satisfactory solution with a PC (can't speak for MAC,
haven't used one in 3 years).
