Hmm.. AFAIK, the VPDF uses APDF, not vice versa. So the results, including
printouts, from either one are dependant on APDF, and APDF setup/options.
Right?

Well, the VPDF is a V3-port of APDF - so isn't it just a shortcut of a sorts to
do the thing: all you (should) need is the Voyager, now including PDFs?
Of course, if the PDF file is already local, I'd at least choose the APDF (or
Ghostscript!). It saves time and resources to do so - with no need for the web
browser. But, when finding a PDF on-line, i's certainly a Good Thing (tm) if
you can do it all without (seemingly as it is with plugins ;)) using many
different programs (yes!) to do the job.
