Well, I could take a look, but... As far as I remember APDF does not
support printing to the preference printer. It only supports PostScript
as well as some picture format.

For printing, APDF will therefore always generate a PostScript file which
you will either have to copy to the PAR: device /and/ your PostScript
printer, or feed it through some PostScript interpreter like GhostScript.

And yes, Kimmo, you are right. PrinterPS is only used if you use the
PostScript printer driver of the OS.
