Hi all,
First of all, thanks Olli, David and the rest of the Vapor crew for their
continued support for our aging machines, it is most appreciated.
Regarding the new .35 alpha though, I am showing some strange goings on with
(I think) the new image decoders. The first beta seems to work quite well
and very fast loading pages from cache, but with the new .35 alpha, my
screens seem at first a bit sluggish especially when clearing(?) the
existing page, as this seems to be done by clearing 3x columns down the page
sequentialy, but then the new page appears very quick. Once loaded though,
the screen is also very sluggish when scrolling, as the screen is constantly
cleared and redrawn with columnated clearing mention above.
Is any one else seeing this? Is it something I may have missed in the
release notes or during installation? It is strange for me as V3.2.14 is Ok,
as is the first alpha, but this new .35 alpha is the only one that I get
these symptoms. My system is as per below.
