Current version of V3 is steady as a rock here, occasional (twice a
week maybe) crash seems to be the random Network or whatever problem.

Depends what you mean there, the diversity of the hardware / system
setups makes it hard to get any program that will work on all configs.

If you're not using the latest version of Contact Manager (why not?),
then I'd suggest it's probably a MUI related problem rather than CM.
I use all of those programs without any problems at all. Although I
use AmFTP not mFTP as I prefer it.
