Just find something better to use than Hotmail. Try mail.com or something.
hotmail screws up MS browsers too at times. They are constantly rewriting
the code of the login page and the whole service is a huge spam trap. I use
my hotmail address as a throwaway, just to see what sorts of stuff gets sent
when you put a real email address in the box before downloading some bit of
freeware.
