I was looking at the HTML 4.0 DTD files which come with the
"checkhtml" archive on Aminet. There are loads of them, many with the
#nnn number as well. I assume they're part of the "standard".
I don't recall seeing sites on which this causes a problem. Is there
another way you can display math and typesetting symbols?
