The Math Markup Language MML has been designed but that is only supported in
Mozilla and W3C's Amaya currently. Have a look at www.w3c.org for more
infos. I hope the new V engine has been designed so that these new techs
can be added at a later date.
On the Amiga (and any other platforms at the mo) use something like
MathScript to gerate the equations and save them as images.
