Answer is: This way people can use datatypes for unavailable plugins (in
Voyager's case noone is doing any plugins)..And also people can use their ppc
datatypes and enjoy the increased speed and decreased cpu load..> I know in Morphos
it is much much faster.. But currently our most stable OS is AmigaOS.. And it must
have the highest priority (IMHO) I have been trying MorphOS for 3 hours now. And even
though I am impressed with the speed increase in intuition, (most operations have
slowed down here on my 604e-233 / 060-50 / CVisionPPC / 128MB RAM combo) it is very
unstable and usually very incompatible. ( but that set intuiticks program is a lovely
thing)
To cut a long story short, I would like to see datatypes support in Voyager..
