V already supports changing pointers over things in theory: but that doesn't
make it a) practical or b) useful.
Okay, if you're all so uptight about it, I'll have a look at it. But don't
expect it to be pretty.

That table you gave as an example is a travesty of html code, but yes it is
taking an age: this is merely an artefact of non-optimized code and actually
taking every factor possible into account.
V actually lays tables out exactly as IE does (in theory, there are still some
niggly bugs even in the internal beta, but not serious ones anymore :), so
you're getting quality layout. The difference between V and IE is that V is
running here on a 50MHz chip that stopped being developed somewhere
like 8 years ago: and IE is running on something around a 500MHz chip
released sometime last year with a core no more than 2 years old with a
bucketload of * F A S T * L2 cache ;)

WarpUP/PowerUP versions aren't going to happen, that's a fact. David Gerber
explains this every time (a few mails previous) yet nobody listens. Do people
actually pay attention to the developers, or just use this list as a way of
offloading bugs? :)
Thanks
