Hey Don... On 11/03/2002, didn't you say... >> I love how my girlfriend laughs that I only use my >> "up-to-date/obsolete" Amiga. She brought work home, and they gave her >> a PC/MAC CD, but all the files were made on a MAC and didn't have file >> extenstions!! So her PC couldn't tell if a file was a TIFF, EPS or >> PDF!! So, she had to use /my/ Amiga to find out which file were which >> and then rename them on her PC. :-) I should have made her go out and >> buy that software that lets PC read Macintosh disks.
> She could load them into Notepad and look at the file headers, but don't > tell her that. :-) And let her know the secrets of finding out how DefIcons does it?! > Or, use "Load As" in Photoshop and try all the likely options in turn. There were over 100 pictures that she had to convert. She did it for about 2 pictures before giving up. What really annoys me also is that PhotoShop doesn't look at the headers either. -- ...Christopher ============================================================================
