Yes, that's a part of being graceful. In the naming and header instances, the Amiga tries to discern "what you mean" from "what you say". I've teased folks before by naming images with ".txt" and ".html" before,.. The problem with having windows looks at the file's header is that someone would actually have to write their own routine to do such. It's far easier, in any os, to use the default system of loading files.
