Yeah, those errors sound like one of many feature-not-a-bug things with
VSS.  

Anyway, for future reference, rev 190 had the following stats on my VSS
Repo:

Started at              : Tue Apr 11  9:48:46 2006
Ended at                : Tue Apr 11  9:56:43 2006
Elapsed time            : 00:07:57 (H:M:S)

VSS Actions read        : 4266
SVN Revisions converted : 722
Date range (YYYY/MM/DD) : 2003/10/13 to 2006/04/10

All 722 revisions have since been imported successfully into SVN.

Those error messages seem to be the cause of much alarm for first-time 
users; I should probably either relegate them to "debug" status and/or 
add (probably harmless) to the output...
