Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.  One of the streams I was interested in fishing was the upper section of  Rattlesnake Creek that requires a 5-6 mile hike to reach.  Has anyone fished this part of the creek?  I'd be iinterested to get your thoughts on what it was like.  There are a number of other smaller creeks in the Blackfoot, Bitteroot, Lower Clark Fork drainages that require hikes to reach which I am hoping to fish during my Montana trip.  I'll post a report when I return.
