Title: RE: Center that counts
I have a tough time reconciling "you dim witted ignorant imbeciles" with "if the stupid ignorant foul comments continue."  Hmmm.  Why is it that the people who rarely, if ever, have anything to contribute here that is fly fishing related come out of the woodwork when its a Chevy/Ford slugfest?

Color me disappointed,

Keith

I agree with this guy as I got called on the carpet 2 years ago for voicing a political opinion on this forum. but here is my 2 cents worth as a member of the Democratic party and having a family that has owned businesses in the past and others that have been high up in the unions I hope you dim witted ignorant imbeciles that are attacking the Republicans Realize that you can find just as many very, very rich in the Democratic party that protect the very wealthy also and hide their money out of the country to avoid paying taxes but want to raise taxes for the rest of us.

Anyway I would like this to stop as my son is going back for his third tour in Iraq this January and if the stupid ignorant foul comments continue [and I do not care which party you go after] I will do my best to shut this forum down...

Sincerely Yours,
Ray

Ok now I have had enough of all this political crap. I have spent too much time serving this country in Iraq, Afghanistan, many other "Stans" and numerous other shitholes around the world to voluntarily submit myself to more political crap on a mailing list that is supposed to be recreational!  I'm unsubbing, I'll check back later to see what this list has evolved into. I'm mainly a lurker anyway, you will barely miss me. Good luck to you all.

Please, can we keep this about fly fishing and leave the political jabs out of this forum? I'm sure there are hundreds of great boards to post your rants and raves about those from the left and those from the right.

For some of us, flyfishing is much more than just the mechanics of fishing.

Conservation has become a touchstone issue as we connect the dots between a quality fishery and regulatory policies that may or may not protect it.

Regardless of how you voted or which party you support, it's hard to disagree that the current administration clearly has done very little to promote conservation, has played fast and loose with the science behind conservation efforts, and in some cases has undone protections that previous administrations had put into place.

IMHO, to prohibit discussion of those policies and their implications is tantamount to approving them.

My 2ยข,

K
