Hiya Denise, It's not the Remote Access Redialling that's the problem. The redialing is set to on so that if you connect to the ISP and all the lines are engaged, the Mac keeps on trying until it gets a vacant line.
You need to go to: Remote Access...Options.... the Protocol tab at the top.... unclick the "Connect automatically when starting TCP/IP applications". Close it all and save.
