i'd have to agree with this. i remember 2 years ago there was the promise of the first firewire multichannel audio interfaces coming out, i was thinking of waiting for such beasts, but decided to go for a PCI solution that was working & proven at the time. It took over a year for the firewire models to come out on full production. SO glad i didn't wait... for a YEAR!
