Yesterday my cordless Mighty Mouse stopped scrolling upwards. Down,
left and right was fine.
I ve got 2 mighty mouse, first one I bought 2nd hand. I've noow
pulled it apart and the rollers had fair bit of fine hair, dust,
fabric lint etc - hair curls around the rollers stops them moving.
Its now got a bit of magic tape holding the case back together ( I
snapped the casing ring when taking it off - bugger)
work fine now
I've tried the magic cloth, etc that various sites, including Apples
little video tout - works for little while.
My Sure Way
I have also found that my fingers either get oily, sweaty or too dry,
so I lick/spit on my fingers and dry them and that seem to the trick
- for a while.
