Wendy,
Please be aware that Apple do now charge for their "help"
The last "phone in" I did cost me over $60.

Michael,
I know this won't help, but I have this exact same problem with four
iTunes songs, it goes round in circles asking for reauthorisation
etc etc. All other iTunes songs play with no problems, it is just
with these four.
A friend of mine had a similar problem a couple of years ago and he
contacted Apple and they were able to resolve the issue for him. I
am planning on doing that soon.

I have just restored (with Super Duper) to a new machine and am
encountering problems in iTunes authorisation. Many of my
playlists will function normally but for all iTunes purchased music
I get the message "This computer is not authorised to play. (title
of tune). To play this song you must authorise this computer to
play songs using the account "[EMAIL PROTECTED]".
This is not my account name. When I correct it to my actual account
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) I get the message that the machine is already
authorised and upon attempting to play the tune I once more get the
initial message asking me to authorise in the name of an account
that does not exist. And so on...........
