Thanks Rob, yes tried different accounts, tried different external drives,
both Firewire and USB. Neither a separate account, or other drives made any
difference. So ruled all that out...

Thanks Ronni

Yes, I can copy the data file to a drive, which is what they are doing now.
Also, doesn't make a difference whether we do it from MYOB telling us to
Backup, or from the menu backup. Also checking for errors and "compressing"
(I think) the data file comes back saying all is good and no problems found.
The file itself gets reported as all be fine. It's just the backup zip part.
But yes, I agree it's something in the backup file.

Thanks Dudley. Yes, they are backing up with Time Machine and just
"dragging" the file to another backup device as well. So it's being backup,
no problems there. But thanks for that.

Just one of those "annoying things" really. Although there are other ways to
do it, it's useful to know why it's not doing it, and to try and get it
working like the software is meant to.
Looks like they may have to just backup the other ways and maybe something
will turn up at a later date. Will see if I can flick it off to MYOB as
well, just so they know.

Thanks all for the replies. At least I know I tried everything. (Well I
think I did) :o)

Thanks again all for the suggestions.

Kind Regards
Daniel
