Evening, In addition to Daniel's comment ensure the camera is working successfully with PhotoBooth. If it does but you are still experiencing issues then I would suggest resetting the PRAM. (Recommended as it is a common requirement in our deployment) Apple has a good knowledge base article on doing so.
