I also have a HL 2140 and have tried flipping the paper and printing the
other pages. My problem was that the paper that came through the first time
tended to curl and would not feed properly and caused jams.

I guess I could have stacked the paper with a weight and let it cool down so
that it MIGHT have flattened out. But after a couple of jams I gave up! :-((
