Reg Telstra (whilst they are still scoundrels, they do have the best coverage) now have a Cap plan. It seems for $49 a month you get $200 worth of calls (but not data). Add a $10 data pack to that. cheers Blitto

Hi Martin
You have to take a 2 year AT&T US contract to get it at that price. If you
read the bottom of the "buy now" page you'll see the follow:-
---quote
Requires new two-year AT&T wireless service contract, sold separately to
qualified customers; credit check required; must be 18 or older. Existing
AT&T customers who want to upgrade from another phone or replace an iPhone
3G should check with AT&T or use www.apple.com/iphone/buy to find out if
they are eligible for early upgrade pricing: $299 (8GB), $399 (16GB), or
$499 (32GB) with a new two-year contract.
--end quote.
It's like getting a free 32GB iPhone over here with Vodafone. Sure, it's
free,..... if you go on their 24 month $114 plan.
Like all these things. You have to read the fine print.
Kind Regards
Daniel
