Hello Jennifer,
Did you clear/delete your "previous recipients" list?
Also open the message/messages that show the wrong TO: then go to
'View > Raw Source. Look for the TO: field and if the name doesn't
match yours, then the problem is on the sender's end, in which case
you shoul tell them to correct your name in their email.

Hello Ronnie,
I have run Repair Permissions again today and the log appears
identical to the last one. My emails are once again showing the
wrong name in the 'To' line.
My husband's MacBook pro is running 10.5.8
One other thing I notice on the Mac OS X is that I am seeing the
spinning multi coloured wheel more often and a slight delay in
loading whatever I have asked for.
I hope the MacBook is back soon so that your and Cloe's life can
return to normal.
regards,
Jennifer

Thank you very much, Ronnie.
You're welcome Jennifer.
That's a relief. No, I haven't been aware of other problems and I
will be on the alert though I hope the Repair, then Combo, then
Repair will have fixed everything. I was wary as the log on my
husband's Mac Book Pro was pretty minimal, maybe because he hasn't
had it long.
Is he running OS X 10.5.8 or 10.6.2?
When you have time, run "Repair Permissions" again on your 10.5.8 &
see what the result is please.
I hope you get your mac Book Pro back pretty soon. It must be a
nuisance, but the "bonkers"isn't showing :-)
It's more than a nuisance, I'm getting so far behind with projects
that I was working on & had given completion dates. The "bonkers" is
showing around here, even little Cloe Bichon is giving me a wide
berth ;-)
Cheers,
Ronni
