Hi again Jon,

I just remembered you mentioned that you had removed the 1TB Drive from your 
computer, after dragging ?GBs of data from it into the Trash. I had temporarily 
forgotten this bit ;-)

You will need to re-connect the 1TB external Drive until the trash empties.

You then need to reformat the 1TB external drive and set it up again for Time 
Machine backups.
Make sure you get any files off the 1TB drive before you reformat it as 
everything will be erased from the drive when it is formatted.
