Hi folks,

My step daughter has an iMac 17 inch 2GHz using Tiger.
Each of her 2 children have their own log in (with the same parental controls
set up)

On Thursday her son started having a problem with Safari.
He can open Safari and select anything in bookmarks OK.
However once he opens Google, enters something in the search box and clicks
Search,
the spinning beach ball appears, runs for about 30 seconds to a minute and then
Safari quits.

I tried opening the Apple website and that was fine, but once I entered
something in
the search box and hit enter .... Safari quit !!

Strange thing is that mum and daughter can log in and Safari is fine.

I have compared the Safari set up for both children and it is identical.

So I decided to delete the son as a user and up comes the spinning beach ball
for that !!
Have to then force quit system preferences.

Any ideas please from anyone ??

Regards,
Stephen Chape
