it makes a folder from the dvd, then with mpeg streamclip you can the convert to dv - mp4- & other formats for your editing you can try with mpeg stream clip directly to "open a dvd" then choose the range you want to convert/export
i cracked a number of dvds in that way

I want to grab scenes from the disk, then perhaps drop them into iMovie to edit them. I have looked at several conversion programs without luck. Any info on how to go about this?
