Hi Bill, A) Are you trying to send from your " bill parker <re...@westnet.com.au>” email address using Apple Mail on your iPhone while wirelessly connected to a Bigpond Network? OR B) Are you trying to send from your " bill parker <re...@westnet.com.au>” email address using Apple Mail on your Computer while wirelessly connected to a Bigpond Network? If B) Try changing the outgoing Mail (SMTP) server to mailr.westnet.com.au 1. Open Mail > Preferences > Accounts 2. Click "Westnet POP" & Under 'Account Information' 3. Go to Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.westnet.com.au click on the Arrow & Scroll to 'Edit SMTP Server List' (as attached screenshot shows) 4. Click the + 5. Double click (where it says to) & type in mailr.westnet.com.au 6. Click mailr.westnet.com.au so it shows in Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) 7. See if you can send an email Cheers, Ronni 17" MacBook Pro 2.3GHz Quad-Core i7 “Thunderbolt" 2.3GHz / 8GB / 750GB @ 7200rpm HD OS X 10.6.7 Snow Leopard Windows 7 Ultimate (under sufferance) -- The WA Macintosh User Group Mailing List -- Archives - <http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/archives.shtml> Guidelines - <http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/guidelines.shtml> Unsubscribe - <mailto:wamug-unsubscr...@wamug.org.au>
