Dear WAMUGers,

Although it was inevitable it was a very big shock to hear the news of
Steve Jobs resignation as CEO. As a long time user of Apple computers
I have developed a love for the company and stood fast by them when
many of my friends abandoned the platform during the great push by MS.
The return of Steve at the head of the company gave a new impetus, his
vision and positiveness did a lot to place our beloved company where
it is now. I guess that because of his positive influence, and having
seen how he brought the company back to be the leader and recongnised
as such by the consumers, there is this slight fear that by his
departure Apple might loose its impetus, vision and excellence. Life
is what it is, we all have to go at one time whether it is in
retirement or to the other side. Nonetheless it is still hard to come
to grips with it.

I will remain a supporter of this platform because I like the Apple
philosophy and I thank Steve for all he has done and wish him all the
very best.

Kind regards,

Philippe C
