Chris, what Ronni has posted is what actually happens when you purchase Adobe
products. You won't have to redownload it. 8 gig of RAM works fine on both my
Macs with Lighroom 4 and I have 24 and 36 megapixel cameras with very large
file sizes. My Mac mini has the same specs as yours. But, I am running Lion,
and now Mountain Lion, perhaps that is what makes a difference. No slowing down
and no spinning beachballs when running Lightroom 4.
