I haven't done this myself, but I suggest that you could try a drag and drop from the backup copy from time machine to your music folder. You may need to re establish the connection again by pointing iTunes to that folder. Holding down the option or command key as you open iTunes. I can check on my mac later and see if this is the correct process and if I can set up these instructions in a step wise fashion as Ronnie would do.
